Grows on Macigno del Chianti soil, commonly called Arenarie, composed by sands and rocks, well drained and furnished with little organic matter. Sanbarnaba’s mission is to showcase the quality possibilities of Trebbiano, a grape long a feature of the estate and here given a non-traditional vinification: destemmed and softly pressed grapes are vinified with the skins in terracotta amphorae.
